About the event
When Work Feels Uncertain
A Community Conversation for Black Women Navigating Career Disruption, Income Uncertainty & What Comes Next
A culturally rooted Community Conversation created for Black Women navigating disruption in established careers, leadership roles, public service, consulting, entrepreneurship, and other work built through years of experience.
This gathering is especially relevant for Black Women experiencing layoffs, organizational restructuring, stalled advancement, reduced income, canceled contracts, lost clients, diminished business revenue, or uncertainty about the future of work they’ve spent years building.
For many Black Women, work disruption affects more than a paycheck. It can also unsettle identity, confidence, purpose, relationships, financial security, and well-being—particularly when the disruption follows years of education, experience, service, leadership, sacrifice, or business development.
